Not what I expected
I absolutely LOVE JoKoy and couldn't wait to take my friend, who had not seen him before. However, it was nothing like his Netflix specials. First of all, other than Gabrielle Iglesias, we could have done without all the pre-show entertainment...... too long waiting for JoKoy. It seemed as if he adjusted his performance based on what he thought the OC crowd wanted and maybe the young people enjoyed it. He spent too much time interacting with audience and not enough time doing his AWESOME imitations of his Mom and his family stories. It was more of a cultural speech encouraging young people to be proud of their own cultures and to accept others. That's all good, but way too much time spent on it. I actually re-watched his Netflix in LA Forum and Hawaii for the 2nd time the following night, just so I could laugh and see the "normal" JoKoy.
